How to get there
Hilton Vienna Park is located next to the Metro Station U3: WIEN MITTE (LANDSTRASSE)
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN
All of Vienna's train stations are connected to the public transport system.
From Vienna Main Station (Hauptbahnhof):
> Take the metro line U1 to Stephansplatz (direction Leopoldau) > Get off at Stephansplatz and change to metro line U3 > Take the metro line U3 to Wien Mitte Landstrasse (direction Simmering) > Get off at Wien Mitte Landstrasse
A one-way metro ticket costs EUR 2,40.
From Vienna Westbahnhof Station:

ARRIVAL BY PLANE
If you are travelling to Vienna by plane, you are arriving either at Vienna International Airport or in Bratislava. To get from Vienna International Airport to the city center, you can take the City Airport Train (CAT), the ÖBB Schnellbahn (S-Bahn) or a Taxi.
From Vienna International Airport:
By City Airport Train:
The City Airport Train goes every 20 minutes from the airport to the station Wien Mitte/Landstrasse. The trip takes 16 minutes.

By Schnellbahn S7 (S-Bahn):
The Schnellbahn S7 leaves every half hour. From the airport, take the S7 train towards Wien Mitte (Landstrasse), Wien Nord or Floridsdorf. Get off at Wien Mitte (Landstrasse).

From Bratislava Airport:
Bratislava Airport is located 65km from the center of Vienna. Take the Flixbus to Vienna:
The bus stop is located in front of the Arrivals Terminal. Tickets for sale by the bus driver.

Accompanying Person
Accompanying persons will not get their own name badge. All tickets for your accompanying person(s) are linked to your conference registration. There will be a guest list at the check-in of the social events. Therefore, we kindly ask you to please provide the name of your accompanying person(s) beforehand. If you have not done this yet please send us an email to softwood@aimgroup.eu.
To ensure a smooth check-in, you can either show us your name badge and bring your accompanying person(s) with you, or, if they are participating at the social event without you they can hold their ID ready.
How to access the conference
You will receive a name badge which you can pick up in the hotel lobby.
It is compulsory to wear your badge to access the conference presentations. If you should lose your badge, please note that any re-print will be charged.
How to access the Social Events and the Study Tour
Please note that you do not need to wear your conference badge to the study tour or the welcome reception on 11 October. Bringing the badge allows for a smooth check-in, but we can also check you in to the study tour and welcome reception with name lists. For the networking dinner after the conference, please bring the badge with you. If your accompanying person is participating at a social event without you, we kindly ask them to hold their ID ready.
This ensures a smooth boarding/check-in and minimizes waiting times.
